A 35 years old client, highly educated, from what she called a “perfect and wealthy family, without problems” booked an individual constellation session. 

Despite success in all areas; she was healthy, financially independent, highly educated with a PhD, she was the perfect daughter and a sister, she still wasn’t happy.

She kept a secret and no matter how hard she tried to suppress it it was still present and it devoured her. 

The client is of homosexual orientation — no one knew that, especially not her “perfect and wealthy family, without problems”. 

She would hide behind her cheerful spirit, perkey character, and high intelligence, but it was harder and harder to cope with the secret that she kept for 20 years. 

She believed the secret would go away and she would as she puts it “kill” it with excellence in everything. From school, sports, college, and especially in the family. 

Prior to constellations, she sought professional help from a psychiatrist. All she wanted was to “eradicate this disorder and become normal“. 

So the goal of her sessions was to empower her so she can accept that being gay is not a disease or a disorder and that gay person is not a “defective good”. 

So the base was self-acceptance, self-confidence, self-understanding and self-esteem. She did her homework diligently and today she is “a completely different person who enjoys life and who is grateful for everything she felt and experienced, because it brought her to where she is, to finally accept and love herself just the way she is”. 

She still has come out to her family, and this wasn’t the primary goal, what she did was come out to herself!

This client and their experiance in particular is very importan because, as the client said: “thoughts about ending my life and suicide are a distant memory now, as if it were another person, some other life“.
